- The National Women's Studies Association
(NWSA) publishes several useful publications on women's studies programs, program administration, and teaching. All are linked from sub-categories on a professional resources page, including resources for students. Some of the titles available in various sub-categories: the NWSA/Ms. Magazine Guide to Women's and Gender Studies (listings for women's and gender studies programs throughout the U.S.) Guide to Graduate Work in Women's & Gender Studies: 2006 Edition, the database of women's centers (formerly maintained by folksinger Gerri Gribi), Mapping Women’s and Gender Studies Data Collection (includes figures on the numbers of women's studies programs, students enrolled, majors, etc. in 2005-2006), the PA&D Handbook (for program administrators and directors), Feminist Theory Syllabi collection 2006, Introducing Women's and Gender Studies: A Teaching and Resource Collection, Teaching Resources on Racism, White Privileges, & Anti-White Supremacy, and CAS Standards for Women Student Programs and Services. - Ms. Magazine has lists of undergraduate women's studies majors and minors, masters programs, and PhD programs. (published in the Spring 2009 issue of the magazine).
- John C. Younger has compiled a list of University
LGBT/Queer Programs in the US and Canada.
- The Center for Lesbian and Gay Studies, City University of New York has a database Directory of LGTBQ Studies' scholars. Typing "LGTBQ Studies" in the space allotted for "field of study" will display programs that are being offered in various institutions nationwide.
